In his first halfseason in the team Armando Silveira delivers, by taking home the green jersey from Germany Tour. The jersey was won in close combat with topformer Leight Inglis from Nefal and second ranked Robert Mjelde from Hells Grannies. With three podiums including one win, Silveira just managed to come out on top.
We are happy that Silveira lives up to the expectations already and we hope, to be able to continue the good performance. Silveira and the team is now considering the options for the future, that could include Vuleta Los Castillos, Essex Tour as well as Germany Tour next season.

It is so great what you have achieved with Farruco Alonso. I was tempted bidding on him when he was for sale as a talent, mostly because of his cool lastname.
Yes he was. It was a perfect opportunity with only a few TTers in the field.
*Season 32 it was
He has a small edge over most hillers in TT true. My supportriders are not strong though. It would take goodlegs on both stages I reckon, I don't dare hope for that ;)
It was nice Farruco won it last season, did he have topform?
Essex is doable for a hiller only if there are only a very little TTers. But Silveira is better suited for the TT than Farruco so it might be doable.
Aah I see that AEK won it last season with a full leadouttrain for Stijn Heremans. Might give it a shot someday, but my leadouts needs an update first.
Thanks, that would be amazing. I fear my supportrider are wrong for the race though. It seems the race favours teammate over leadouts.
Great rider, he can easily be World Champion this season.
Thank you! Yes that would surely be a great achievement. Though I think podium is the highest I can hope for in Essex, even if I should choose to race it in topform.
Congratz! Vuelta, Essex and GT jerseys in one season would be great achievement...
